"My name is Joy Marsh Stephens and I am running for Hennepin County Commissioner for District 1. My priority is creating living wage jobs in order to reduce our dependency on expensive social safety net programs. I will partner with others to create strong, healthy communities where all of our children are on pathways to opportunity, regardless of race or economic status. And I will serve as an equity champion by ensuring that we target the investment of our public resources so that all of Hennepin County is the best that it can be."
